The Texas Rangers have traded reliever Robbie Ross to the Boston Red Sox for pitcher Anthony Ranaudo. Ross started last season in the Texas rotation, but finished the year in the bullpen. Ranaudo spent most of last season at Triple-A Pawtucket, leading the International League in wins (14) and ERA (2.61). He was named International League Most Valuable Pitcher.
