Tony Romo not the only Cowboys veteran who'll be on the sidelines for the preseason opener Thursday against the Chargers in San Diego. Cornerback Morris Claiborne will also be a spectator. Third straight year that he'll miss the team's first exhibition game. Claiborne has missed the last 5 training camp practices due to tendinitis in his right knee.
