The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly planning to release backup quarterback Kyle Orton. He had stayed away from Valley Ranch during the entire offseason. If Orton had decided to retire, he would've had to repay the team $3 million of a $5 million signing bonus. The move also means that Brandon Weeden will go into training camp as Tony Romo's backup.
