Cowboys return to practice in Oxnard today

The Dallas Cowboys return to training camp practice in Oxnard, California, after a day off following Friday's preseason loss to the Oakland Raiders, 19-17.

One wide receiver will sit out today's practice, while another returns after a two-week respite. Cole Beasley, injured in the Raiders game, has been diagnosed with ligament damage and bone bruising in his left foot. He will likely miss most of the week, and subsequently, Saturday's preseason game at Phoenix, due to the injury.

Terrance Williams is expected to practice for the first time today since suffering a concussion on August 2. Williams, slated to be the No. 3 receiver behind Dez Bryant and Miles Austin, missed the first two preseason games, but was able to get some conditioning work toward the end of last week, in anticipation of this week's workouts.

The Cowboys have one practice at 7:15 pm Dallas time today. They will resume their usual practice routine of a 12:30 pm walkthrough and a 6 pm full practice on Monday, and continue that until breaking camp on Friday in preparation of Saturday's game at The University of Phoenix Stadium against the Arizona Cardinals.
