After days of speculation, the Rangers & Cubs have finally pulled off that trade sending pitcher Matt Garza to Texas. In exchange, the Rangers are sending 3B Mike Olt, RHP Justin Grimm, RHP CJ Edwards & one or two players to be named later to Chicag.
Garza has had injury concerns, spending time on the DL in each of the last three seasons. That includes the first six weeks this year with a strained muscle in his side. But since returning he is 6-1 with a 3.17 ERA. Garza has won his last 5 starts and hasn't given up more than two runs in any of those outings.
