For the first time in station history, The Ticket has been nominated for TWO Marconi Radio Awards named as a finalist for Major Market Station of The Year AND Sports Station of the Year.
The Ticket is Dallas-Ft. Worth’s first all-sports station. All four daily shows (The Musers, The Invasion, The Sweet Spot, The Hardline) consistently sit at the top of the Metroplex radio ratings.
In addition to generating high ratings and garnering national awards, The Ticket is very involved in the local community and has raised well in excess of $12 million dollars.
The Ticket has now been nominated 19 times in its 30-year station history, winning Marconi awards in 2007, 2013, 2017, and 2021 for Sports Station of the Year.
The highly coveted Marconi Radio Awards are presented to outstanding stations and on-air personalities from across the U.S. to recognize excellence in radio. The Marconi Radio Awards were established in 1989 and are considered by many to be radio’s highest honor.
