From the newest installment of Ferguson in Lewisville just off of I-35, Norm and Donovan did their remote broadcast from inside the company store. They started the day talking about the continued standoff between Nerlens Noel and the Dallas Mavericks. Noel’s agent said he and his client are “disappointed” with the lack of a serious offer from the team. Donovan mentioned that Noel has indeed received an offer from the Mavericks that tops out at 17 million per year over four years. This outraged Norm who could not believe that Noel did not accept the lucrative offer.
Then came the Rangers. After another frustrating loss that continues to expose the team’s suspect offense, Norm and Donovan agreed that the team needs to reconsider its long term plans. With the hopes of resigning Yu Darvish in the offseason, the team is caught in an awkward situation as they try to decide to either tear everything down or continue to compete for the wildcard spot.
Finally Thursday morning, Norm and Donovan discussed the lack of depth across the Cowboys depth chart. With questions at running back, wide receiver, defensive line, and defensive back, the Cowboys have many answers that need to be provided before the start of the preseason.
