Thursday morning, Norm and Donovan started the day talking about the Mavericks and their possible plans for closing out the offseason. The two debated how the situation involving starting center Nerlens Noel should be handled. The talented young center is a restricted free agent and is still not close to a deal with the Mavericks. Norm said that the team has all the leverage in contract talks and should not surrender a penny in the discussions.
Jockey Richard Eramia then joined the show and was asked about his intense schedule. Eramia mentioned that at one point he raced 17 different horses in a single day. The talented jockey has pocketed over two million dollars this year alone from racing and is showing no signs of slowing down. To close out the program the two pondered whether or not starting Cowboys cornerback Nolan Carroll will get suspended by the NFL. The latest incident involving Carroll is only another criminal problem being faced by a current Dallas Cowboy.
