The Pro Football Writers Association has selected Jerry Jones as their Executive of the Year. He joins Al Davis in 2002 as the only other owner/GM to win the award. Jones’ notable achievements this year include denying his own near-irrerpresible urge to draft Johnny Manziel and building a 12-win team.
The PFWA also recognized DeMarco Murray as their Offensive Player of the Year.
