The SMU Mustangs didn't have much else to play for at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut. The Mustangs got the most they could out of the game, they overcame a 20-6 deficit at the half to win 27-20, SMU gets their first win on the season for interim coach Tom Mason.
