Orlando Scandrick Suspended

Dallas Cowboys cornerback, Orlando Scandrick, has been suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the NFL's performance enhancing drug policy.

Scandrick had failed a drug test in April, testing positive for MDMA or better known by the street name 'Molly". His appeal for the suspension was overturned by the league yesterday.

Scandrick is claiming he was unaware the substance was on the banned list when his ex-girlfriend pursuaded him to put it in his drink while he was vacationing in Mexico.

The seven year veteran was coming off a career year in 2013, and was one of the few bright spots defensively during the first two weeks of training camp.
