The Cowboys finally making an addition to their defensive line. Former Grapevine High School and University of Texas standout Henry Melton returning to the metroplex. Melton signing a reported one year deal with a club option for three more with the Cowboys.
This offers the team some protection since Melton played only three games in 2013 before tearing an ACL in Chicago. He could earn up to five million dollars in 2014, and if Melton is still on the roster in 2015 he'll have a three year contract that could average eight million dollars per season.
Melton a Pro Bowler in 2012 when he recorded six sacks in the middle of the Bears defensive line. He'll replace Jason Hatcher who signed with the Redskins last week.
