Michael Young is coming back to Texas so he can retire as a Ranger. Young playing 12 of his 13 seasons with the Rangers, and while his tenure here didn't end so well he still considers himself to always be a Ranger.
Young wasn't thrilled to move to DH and first base in 2012. Then he was traded to the Phillies after the season and played in both Philadelphia and Los Angeles last season.
He's the Rangers all-time leader in games played, hits, doubles, triples, and runs scored. He is third in RBI's and fifth in home runs. Young a 7-time all star and he won a batting title in 2005 with a .331 average. Young also very versatile, starting at least 400 games each at second base, shortstop, and third base.
