It’s Another Go Home Game for the Cowboys

So much for this win or go home business. The Cowboys just go home when the NFC East is on the line. For the third straight season Dallas losing the divison title in the final game, and now they've done it against each of their three divison rivals.

This time it's the Eagles turn to claim the divison and a playoff berth with a 24-22 win at the Death Star. Once again the Cowboys final chance is short-circuited by a terrible interception. But it's not Tony Romo, rather Kyle Orton guilty of this one. While Romo is home recovering from back surgery Orton throws a pick in the final two minutes while down by two. Orton was decent in his first start in two yeaers, completing 30 of 46 passes for 358 yards.

The Dallas defense gives a decent account of itself, limiting Philadelphia to 366 total yards. The Cowboys only allow five of 13 third downs to be converted and they even come up with a stop on fourth and goal inside their own one.

The off-season is here after a third straight 8-8 season. The status of the head coach and both coordinators certainly in question.
