The Mavericks once again avoid a three game losing streak, rallying for a 111-104 win over the Rockets. Dirk Nowitzki leads the way with 31 points, 10 of them in the fourth quarter. In the process Dirk moves up another notch on the all-time scoring list, edging ahead of one-time Mav Alex English into 14th place.
Monta Ellis chips in 18 points, Jose Calderon 15 points, and Samuel Dalembert returns to the starting lineup to post eight points and seven rebounds. The Mavs will take two days off for Christmas and host the Spurs on Thursday night.
