Many factors contributing to the Cowboys having the 32nd ranked defense in the NFL this season, among them has to be injuries. Dallas has used 19 different defensive linemen this year, but many of the regulars are back.

Wednesday's practice includes Bruce Carter returning to his weakside spot. Carter missing Sunday's loss to the Packers with a hamstring. Rookie DeVonte Holloman holding down the middle linebacker spot and Kyle Wilber on the strongside. Wilber has moved from defensive end to start the last four games at that spot.
