The Dallas Mavericks held their Saturday morning shootaround at the American Airlines Center without forward Dirk Nowitzki and head coach Rick Carlisle, who are both ill.
It is not known if either Carlisle or Nowitzki will participate in the team's home game against Milwaukee this evening.
Nowitzki has played in all 23 Mavericks games this season, with an average of 21.1 points and 6.0 rebounds thus far.
Carlisle has been ill since before the Mavs' four-game, West Coast road trip. He has not missed a game since December 27, 2010, when his recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery caused him to miss a win at Oklahoma City, where assistant Dwane Casey coached the team in Carlisle's absence.
Tipoff of tonight's game is at 7:30 pm. Stay tuned to SportsRadio 1310 and 96.7 FM, The Ticket, for the Mavericks' Post Game show, with Mark Followill and Cash Sirois, immediately following tonight's game.
