Mavericks top Magic, 108-100, in Orlando

The Dallas Mavericks had six players in double figures and cut down on their turnovers from the night before, as they beat Orlando, 108-100, at the Amway Center in Orlando last night.

Monta Ellis led the team with 19 points, followed by Dirk Nowitzki with 18 points. DeJuan Blair added 18 points off the bench in the winning effort. The other Mavs in double figures in points included Vince Carter with 12, and Shawn Marion Jose Calderon with 11 apiece.

Dallas had committed 24 turnovers in Friday night's loss to the Heat, but they cut those giveaways by two-thirds against the Magic last night.

It was the Mavericks' second road win of the season, against four losses. The win gives Dallas a 6-4 record, good enough for eighth in the Western Conference.

The Magic were paced by Arron Afflalo's 25 points. Orlando falls to 4-6 on the season.
