The Rangers Waste Chances in a Second Straight Loss

The Rangers have their chances but score very little in a second straight loss to the White Sox, 5-2 Sunday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field.

Adrian Beltre the guilty party as the clean-up hitter fails twice to drive home a run with a runner at third and less than two out. In the fifth with runners at the corners Beltre lines into a double play. In the sevneth Beltre ends the inning by grounding into a double play with the bases loaded. On the afternoon Texas goes 0-7 with runners in scoring position.

Matt Garza gives up five runs in seven innings to fall to 3-2 since a July trade from the Cubs.

The Rangers road trip moves on to Seattle for the next three. Travis Blackley makes his second start for Texas hoping to last about 80 to 85 pitches.
