The Rangers rallying from behind to win for the 37th time this season, only the Braves have more comeback wins. Texas doing it with a 3-run 7th inning on the way to a 5-4 win over the Brewers.
The key to the rally was the walk. Craig Gentry, Jurickson Profar, and Jeff Baker all walk to load the bases with no one out. All three wind up scoring on singles from Elvis Andrus and Ian Kinsler.
Matt Garza has his shortest start since coming over to the Rangers last month. Garza only lasts 5.2 innings, giving up four runs on eight hits. The bullpen quartet of Neal Cotts, Jason Frasor, Tanner Scheppers, and Joe Nathan keep it scoreless over the final 3.1 innings. Frasor earns his 4th win and Nathan his 36th save.
The Rangers are off Thursday and host the Mariners on Friday. Their lead is now two games in the AL West after the A's lose 2-1 to the Astros.
