The Cowboys doing nothing to bloster their defensive line in the off-season, so this is the last thing they need. One of their key rotation members is done for the year. Tyrone Crawford suffering what's believed to be a season-ending left achilles tendon. Crawford was to be a key back-up at both defensive end and defensive tackle in the new 4-3 defense.
Without Crawford the Cowboys will look both internally and on the outside for help on the defensive line. They have few experienced players at end playing behind Anthony Spencer and DeMarcus Ware, two linebackers who are making position changes.
