Jordan Spieth Breaks Through

19-year-old Jordan Spieth doing something that Tiger Woods couldn't. Spieth the first teenager to win on the PGA Tour since fellow Dallassite Ralph Guldahl in 1931. He needs five extra holes to do it. Spieth outlasting Zach Johnson and David Hearn through five playoff holes to win the John Deere Classic.

It was a dramatic final round for Spieth, who begins the day six shots off the lead. But he birdies five of his last six holes in regulation, including a 44-foot bunker shot on 18 that one hops into the cup.

Spieth secures his tour card for a few years and now is qualified for the British Open. That means the Jesuit-grad is scrambling to make it to Scotland for the event starting Thursday.
