The Major Pitching Problem for the Rangers

As much concern as there is for the Rangers offense, their starting pitching is doing them no favors. Texas the only team in the Majors to not have a win from a starting pitcher in the month of June. Monday night's 8-7 win over the A's only their fifth win of the month, and the third in June by reliever Neal Cotts. Robbie Ross and Tanner Scheppers the other wins out of the bullpen.

Yu Darvish starts Tuesday night aginst the A's, seeking his first win since May 16th. Justin Grimm starts Wednesday going for his first win since May 30th. Josh Lindblom makes another fill-in start in Thursday's finale against Oakland. Lindblom is 0-2 in the majors this season. Nick Tepesch rocked for six runs in less than four innings by the A's Monday. Tepesch last winning on May 12th. The most recent win by a starting pitcher was May 31st from Derek Holland.
