After a staunch denial last week, Jason Garrett finally admits Tuesday that the Cowboys have made a decision on their play-caller for 2013. Jerry Jones let the cat out of the bag last week and Bill Callahan confirmed it. Now Garrett confirms it too that Callahan will be calling the offensive plays this fall for Dallas.
Garrett has been calling the plays in Dallas since being hired as the Offensive Coordinator in 2007. He added the head coaching duties in the middle of the 2010 season and continued as the play caller. But now he'll have the freedom to be a walk-around head coach and oversee all parts of the team.
Callahan has play-calling experience in his past as head coach in Oakland and at the University of Nebraska.
