The Rangers and Diamondbacks unable to start their short two game series at the Ballpark Wednesday night. A storm blowing through Arlington around 6 PM, and the winds whipping the tarp up off the field. That allowed too much rain on the infield, thus rendering it unplayable. Texas and Arizona will make up this game on a mutual off day later in the season. They have 4 of them, although August 15th seems the most likely. The Diamondbacks will be on their way from home to a series in Pittsburgh.
Last night's scheduled starters will be on the mound today, Justin Grimm facing Arizona's Brandon McCarthy with a 1:05 first pitch.
