A Frog Suspended 2 Games

The TCU Hornfrogs will be without reigning Big 12 Defenisve Player of the Year, defensive end Devonte Fields, for the first two games of the upcoming 2013 season. Head coach Gary Patterson decided to suspend Fieds for 'violating university and team policy'. Fields will miss the opener against LSU at Cowboys Stadium and game two against Southeastern Louisiana.

Fields, an Arlington native, racked up 18.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks as a freshman in 2012. TCU officials declined to comment on the suspension.
