Rangers rookie righty, Nick Tepesch takes the mound tonight in game two of three against the Whitesox at the Ballpark. Tepesch has been a pleasant surprise this season after breaking camp as the club's fifth starter going 2-1 with a 2.53 ERA. He hasn't walked a batter in his last 20 innings. The rookie is trying to deliver Texas a series win beginning at 7:05.
The bats mashed out 10 runs and 12 hits in last night's win – but things might come as easy tonight against former all-star lefty Chris Sale. The lanky southpaw is 2-2 with a 4.09 ERA, but he has gone seven innings and allowed three runs or less in four of his 5 starts this season for Chicago. Sale is 2-0 in his career against Texas.
Be sure to catch Sean Bass and Ty Walker with Diamond Talk immediately after tonight's game on America's favorite station.
