The Texas Rangers rolling with their back-up catcher for only the 6th time all season Tuesday night. Geovany Soto starting in place of A.J. Pierzynski against the White Sox. Pierzynski has a sore and bruised oblique muscle that he's resting. It could have been signifcant for Yu Darvish as he has a .98 era in four starts throwing to Pierzynski. Yu has allowed 7 of his 10 runs this season in his 2 starts with Soto behind the plate. The injury could also keep Pierzynski out Wednesday night in game two against his former team.
