This is a topic that became controversial and was not intended to be. I am glad it received a lot of attention, yet there was confusion about the truth about saturated fat and its safety.

This article came from Dr Jeremy Webster who is on my radio show often. I wanted to share it with all of you.

It has been falsely vilified due to faulty studies in the 1950's that used hydrogenated oils (trans-fat) and attributed all of the bad results to saturated fats. The fact that the author repeats this false conclusion that saturated fats are bad for your health just proves that they're uninformed and does not understand fat metabolism.

Saturated fat is your bodies natural energy storage device so it makes no sense to assume that saturated fat is the most harmful fat to your health. Besides, plenty of research backs me up. Look at westonaprice.org

You can find plenty of information on tribes and colonies who eat huge amounts of saturated fat yet have virtually no heart disease.

Another thought- breast milk is about 50% lauric acid which is a medium chain saturated fat. Coconut oil is 47% lauric acid. Do you really think breast milk is an extremely damaging form of food???

Canola oil is quite simply not fit for human consumption. It is extracted using harsh methods including heat and chemicals such as hexane that damage the oils.

Further the fats in canola oil are primarily unsaturated which means they will be quickly ruined when exposed to heat, much less the extreme heats involved in popping corn. Even if canola were a healthy unsaturated oil such as fish, flax, sesame, sunflower (if extracted properly), or primrose oil it would still be destroyed by heating and converted into a dangerous fat.

Another favorite exercise is the pull-up. There ways to practice, no need to fear. You can use a pull-up bar or Smith machine at the gym to modify this exercise. Put the bar at about your belly, then facing up with your back facing the ground place your hands facing you on the bar about shoulder with. Feet in front of you, at first knees bent making sure to keep your hips high. Then after gaining strength enough to perform 15 pull-ups straighten your legs in front of you still keeping your hips high trying to perform 15 more. After attaining that goal, put your feet on a bench and repeat 15 reps. Notice how I keep progressing you toward a real pull-up.

After you're able to perform 15 or more pull-ups with your feet on a bench legs straight, it's time to lower the bar. (important KEEP YOUR CHEST UP) no need to bring your chin to the bar. When you make that your goal, you'll lose form. I've seen happen almost every time.

Stand next to the bar that has been at your belly and lower it to your thigh between your knee and pelvis. By lowering the bar you increase the intensity. Progress with the same instructions above, once you reach the point you can put your feet on the bench, legs straight and 15 or more pull-ups, you're ready for trying the traditional pull-up.

You may perform 5-10 more than you did prior to starting the above protocol. or if you've never been able to perform a traditional pull-up you may do 3 or more. If you still need assistance, use the assisted pull-up machine to help you progress further. You'll expend many calories with pull-ups and have a great looking shape.

If this doesn't wake you up to start taking care of yourself, what will?

November 2007, the UK newspaper The Scotsman, made public warnings by the inventor

of the “flu jab,” Dr. Laver was a major Australian scientist involved in the invention of a flu vaccine, in addition to playing a leading scientific role in the discovery of anti-flu drugs,

went on record as saying the vaccine he helped to create was ineffective and [that] natural infection with the flu was safer. “I have never been impressed with its efficacy.”

It is finally happening, the medical community is beginning to embrace the need for supplements to ad to and replace a poor diet deficient of vital nutrients for a healthy heart.

This is just a small sample of an article written in the journal of American College of Cardiology (AJCC)

Despite major advances in medical therapy, morbidity and mortality remain high, in part because current pharmacological regimens may not fully address some unique requirements of the heart for energy. The heart requires a continuous supply of energy-providing substrates and amino acids in order to maintain its function. In HF, defects in substrate metabolism and cardiac energy and substrate utilization may contribute to contractile dysfunction. HF is often accompanied by a deficiency in key micronutrients required for unimpeded energy transfer. Correcting these deficits has been proposed as a method to limit or even reverse the progressive myocyte dysfunction and/or necrosis in HF. This review summarizes the existing HF literature with respect to supplementation trials of key micronutrients involved in cardiac metabolism: coenzyme Q10, L-carnitine, thiamine, and amino acids, including taurine. Studies using a broader approach to supplementation are also considered. Although some of the results are promising, none are conclusive. There is a need for a prospective trial to examine the effects of micronutrient supplementation on morbidity and mortality in patients with HF.

I hope you can now understand the need for cleansing your system and allowing your organs to work properly with the highest grade of nutrient dense supplements avaialble on the market to date at www.21daybodymakeover.com

This is perfect as it is and so I didn't want to ruin it by putting my two cents in to sway your decision about whether or not we live in a very toxic  environment and once again it does not matter how fit and lean you are, you are toxic. We cannot run from it and although eating healthy helps it does not rid you of the billions of pounds of chemicals we are exposed to every year.

Voters want the EPA to be given more power to regulate chemicals

WASHINGTON – A poll conducted in August, 2009 by the opinion research firm Lake Research Partners found that Americans are very concerned with the way chemicals are regulated for consumer use in the U.S. The findings come as new legislation—an overhaul of the 1976 Toxic Substances Control Act—is expected to be introduced soon in both Houses of the U.S. Congress.

Voters are particularly concerned that, under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), chemicals in existence prior to 1976 were grandfathered in and allowed to be used and produced in the U.S. without testing or a demonstration of safety. (87 percent were somewhat or very concerned; 66 percent were very concerned). Eighty percent of voters were concerned that the EPA was unsuccessful in banning asbestos under the current law. Eighty-four percent were concerned that EPA has mandated testing of barely 200 out of the more than 80,000 chemicals on the market in the years that TSCA has been in effect.

“What’s really surprising is that voters across almost all demographic groups—Democrats, Republicans and Independents, said that they didn’t think that regulations on chemicals are strong enough,” said pollster Celinda Lake. “People definitely are not confident about how chemicals are currently regulated, but they’re ready to give the EPA authority to protect consumers.”

Hundreds of scientific studies in recent years have revealed concerns about chemicals like bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates, which are widely used in baby bottles, pacifiers, canned foods and children’s and pet toys. These studies associate such chemicals with a variety of health problems and chronic diseases such as the rise in diabetes, asthma, increased risk of certain types of cancer and infertility. Consumer confidence in the safety of products has also been undermined by news of dangerous levels of formaldehyde in the trailers provided to Hurricane Katrina victims.

“The public is aware of the growing body of science linking common chemicals to chronic diseases and they’re waking up to the fact that the existing law isn’t working.”  says Andy Igrejas, director of the Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families coalition. “Americans are doing their best to shop smart, but we can’t protect our families without help and without strong reforms to put common-sense limits on toxic chemicals.”

Majorities of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans say they would be in favor of legislation that would take toxic chemicals off the market if they have been detected in newborn babies or infants (Democrats – 66 percent much more favorable, Independents – 52 percent, Republicans – 59 percent), and that would mandate immediate reductions in exposure to other toxic chemicals, such as formaldehyde, that have been extensively studied (Democrats - 69 percent much more favorable, Independents – 51 percent, Republicans – 57 percent).

The poll was commissioned by the Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families coalition and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percent. The poll was conducted among 1000 registered voters nationwide Aug. 25 to 31, 2009.

Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families is a growing coalition of 100 groups united by their common concern about toxic chemicals in our homes, places of work and products we use every day. A full list of coalition members is here: http://saferchemicals.org/about/who.html

This was written by Dr. Light and it was so perfect that I didn’t want to touch it.
All I have been writing about can be verified and has credibility added to it when an MD recommends it ~ George

A study based in Michigan found DDT in more than 70 percent of four-year-olds. All the children were citizens of the U.S., and as mentioned above, DDT has been OUTLAWED since 1972.
So, how were these children exposed to these toxic chemicals? Probably through their mothers' breast milk. But how did the moms acquire it?

With our global economy, we are often eating food that is picked a day or more before in Guatemala, Indonesia, or Asia, where there are not the same restrictions on the use of pesticides as there are in the United States.

Many of these chemicals are stored in fat tissue, making animal products concentrated sources.
One hundred percent of beef is contaminated with DDT, as is 93 percent of processed cheese, hot dogs, bologna, turkey, and ice cream, because the soil still contains residue of the pesticide long ago banned.

Hi George!

The cleanse has ended- and I wanted to drop you a quick line and update you on
my progress. First, let me say I am amazed with the 21 day body make-over! WOW.
I lost a total of 8 lbs. and 14 inches... turn it up, did you hear that?  14 inches!

In summary, the first 2 days were difficult and then it was easy. Day 10 was the most
difficult for me, I think because I was having "female" cravings :).. It was Day 11 that
this was more than just a physical cleanse. It became a spiritual  journey as well. I started
to feel like I was "in touch " with my body which lead me to a deeper sense of myself.  I
prayed about 3 months ago that God would help me on this journey to good health. I asked
God to help me with overall good health, energy and weight loss- and here you appear in
my life and the next thing I know I am on a 21 day body make-over! It was Day 11 that I
realized you were a Divine connection.

My biological father had a quadruple by-pass at age 52. My mother had hers at 53. My dad
died at age 53 and had been on dialysis for 14 years. This is why my preventive health is
so important to me.

I believe that perceiving and responding to our spiritual desires is an essential aspect of personal development. Optimum health is one of my deepest desires. I thank YOU! I feel
like I am on the road to physical and spiritual balance and clarity. God has blessed me-
again! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Thanks again!
Dena
