Hi!  This is medical doctor Charles Theivagt.I experienced great benefits in a very concrete way the first time I used George’s 21 day cleanse. A week after finishing, I had a physical and blood testing done for my disability insuranceI was amazed when I received the highest health rating and lowest premium that my insurance company offers. The 21 day cleanse paid for itself! I used it again with great benefit and now I recommend the 21 day cleanse to my patients

George's References

Simply look at a joggers body, then look at a sprinters body. Want more proof? There are dozens and dozens of references of burst training studies. And guess what? It's nothing new.

If your trainer didn't know about it at least as far back as 1993 then your trainer needs to go back to school.

Changing the minds and bodies of aerobic junkies one at a time

This comes from Bob Sturm daily talk show host on of BaD radio on Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket

George has asked me to share my thoughts about his 30-day fat loss program that employs burst training and helps you get a lot leaner very quickly.

First, I won't pretend to have any idea what your situation is, so I will just tell you mine.

I am 37 years old, and have been a runner for almost a decade.  Now, I am 6'4, 225, so I am not your typical runner, but 3-4 times a week I would run 5 miles.  I completed a marathon, and 3 more half-marathons, and found that running was something I did pretty well (by my standards).

The biggest issues with what I was doing are 2-fold:  1) despite enjoying it, I felt like my body acclimated to the running and never improved after my initial training.  I found that even though I ran a ton, it never changed my weight or appearance.  I could actually run 20 miles a week, and still slowly put weight on that was not desirable.

and 2) I never could improve my appearance.  My arms and chest were extremely undefined, and I think overall, my strength was not anywhere close to what I would have wanted.

Meanwhile, I see George all of the time around our station, and he has been trying to get me to try burst training for quite a while.  He knows my routine, and he knows I am capable of a lot more, and most importantly, I think he knows that I want more, too.

Anyway, long story longer, I finally told him I would give things a try.  He said 15 minutes a day, 5-6 times a week for 30 days.  At the end of those 30 days, if I don't see any results that I want to see, then go back to running.  No harm.  Just give it a chance.

I did.  And I am likely not planning on going back to my old routine.

Burst training is not easy.  If anyone is telling you it is, then they are not doing it right.  You work your muscles to exhaustion by doing basically 4 or 5 exercises about as hard as you can go for a given period of time.  For me, it is 40 seconds of dumbbell bench presses, and other big muscle exercises that by second 39 has your body shaking.  Then, you rest, recover, and hit it again.

I know I am leaner.  I know I am stronger.  And my body is clearly better to see in the mirror.  What is an added benefit for me is that now that I see results (which I was not seeing in my old routine) I am eager to get back to my next workout.  This gets results.  It is not easy, but it is over in 15 minutes.  Then, you feel great, and you are off to the rest of your day knowing you gave it all you had.

I can't recommend this enough.  It has changed how I feel about fitness, and has me inspired to raise my bar.  I have done the 30 days and I am going to keep going.  I have no doubt that this is the new way for me to see my personal fitness.

As usual, George is right.

How to have your cake and eat it too - without the guilt.

We’re coming up on the holidays – and regardless of what we choose to celebrate, there is one thing we ALL have in common and share in - the FOOD!

Whether you’re invited to someone’s home or at the grocery store - you’ll be surrounded by the candy and baked goods spilling over in the aisles and flooding the shelves of all grocery stores.

Plus, we mustn’t forget about the candy jar or platter of homemade cookies, breads and “special” treats at work.   Everyone tends to join the spirit of giving and eating the Holiday “specialties” during these winter months.  In addition, parents are bringing in the leftover candies from Halloween which their children gathered!  And we certainly can’t offend anyone by turning these offers down!  Now can we?

It’s no coincidence that we tend to “get sick” during these winter months.  Most people would believe and attribute the cold weather to these patterns of falling ill.  Even the rapidly changing weather going from hot to cold is blamed.  This may not be entirely true though.

Since the 1930s, Thimerosil has been widely used as a preservative in a number of biological and drug products, including many vaccines, to help prevent potentially life threatening contamination with harmful microbes.

Over the past several years, because of an increasing awareness of the theoretical potential for neurotoxicity of even low levels of organomercurials and because of the increased number of thimerosal containing vaccines that had been added to the infant immunization schedule, concerns about the use of thimerosal in vaccines and other products have been raised.

The Food and Drug Administration has worked with, and continues to work with, vaccine manufacturers to reduce or eliminate thimerosal from vaccines.

Week Two Cleanse Journal

Day 8

I feel great. I slept well and woke up feeling ready to tackle a very busy day. My stomach is noticeably flatter this morning. My skin is tighter, it looks healthier and my muscle tone is better! The dark circles under my eyes that have always made me a huge fan of under eye concealor seem to be lightening up… as am I!

I ran into George today and he encouraged me to try a new set of weight exercises that will get my butt in shape in very little time.  After our discussion, I also added  sesame oil to my salads and cod liver oil to my daily regimin. These are both on George’s list of suggested foods for the cleanse but I was a bit slow adding them in. After hearing his explanation of the effect of good fats on the body, I am all about the fats!

Prostate Cancer ~ Bend over guy ~ it may save your life!

Men across the world have a fear of the old and still standard way of testing for prostate cancer. The digit (finger) test.

There is another way - a blood test that is call a prostate specific antigen (PSA) test, which when high can show a degree of danger. Doctors around the world are still recommending the age old but reliable digit exam along with the PSA test.

The Good News Girlz Cleansing their lives

Harriet Kelly's Cleanse Journal

Sunday, September 20th, 2009

It seems that now-days, everyone has a cleanse diet for losing weight, clearing toxins from the body--primarily the colon, boosting energy or just feeling better. Celebrities have made some of these programs famous by dropping pounds before a big role - a quick fix for weight control. Not surprisingly, many such programs eliminate alcohol, sugar, caffeine, processed foods and fast foods. Some exclude dairy, meat and wheat products. But how do you really feel on a cleanse program? And how do you know the program is medically sound?

I recently went through a divorce so the idea of physically and figuratively cleansing my body of the past is very appealing. I have done a few cleanses in my life so I know the drill. I'm looking for a new one that will be less time consuming and easier to follow than my previous programs.

There is still much confusion due to inaccurate information by bias and inconclusive studies. What is extrapolated can and often is taken to the extreme and misconstrued. The question is not whether fat is good or bad, it’s the type and amount that seems to be confusing.

Saturated fat has been touted as being bad for many years. We have been told to stay away from butter and steak. Yet butter and hormone free steak is good for us.

Ask your doctor about this information and they will most likely tell you outdated untrue information about what is good or bad for you.

Why?. I am sooo glad you asked.

Because they are Not nutritionists nor do they study nutrition.  Therefore, they should not give nutritional news to their patients.
